PRE-BREEDING EXAMINATIONS
Breeders bring the female in for examination before a planned breeding. Overall physical and blood screening and fecal checks clear the female for breeding.

PROGESTERONE TESTING
This is a blood test performed on the female to check levels for optimal breeding times.

Artificial Insemination – Fresh or Fresh Chilled

Artificial Insemination (AI) is very valuable to breeders. In cases when the breed is very large, AI can be easier on the female. Semen can be sent from miles away when distance is a problem. An accurate due date is then confirmed. We can ship fresh, chilled semen too.

Ultrasound

Females can be checked by ultrasound 30 days after breeding to confirm pregnancy.

X-Ray

Our staff can check how many puppies are to be expected.

Cesarean Section

Some females cannot whelp a litter naturally.
